Family Pentatomidea
On araçá tree (Myrtacea, Psidium sp.)
Mágico!
I nice spotting Sergio.I once found some early nymphs and returned to their tree weekly to capture the whole series. I have not seen this set completed anywhere. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/838... The young can look quite different as you know. Yours look to be a mid instar. These are probably scuterellidae (superfamily=pentatomoidea) which is a sister family to pentatomidae. If you count the four dark marks on the back, the most anterior one is wider in Scuterellidae http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/169... and narrower in pentatomidae http://www.flickr.com/photos/ashe/578937... This one looks close rather http://www.saveourwaterwaysnow.com.au/01...
