Here is a link to a similar species of tortoise beetle. I worked for a summer here in the states doing research with these cute little gems. :)

Hi Christiane,

It looks like these are some kind of Tortoise Beetle larvae. There are several species in your area. This would be an early instar. The one on the left is beginning to build its natural defense. Tortoise beetle larvae keep their wastes on their tail and use it as a deterrence and defense against predators.
