Braconidae sp.
Cocoons on the back of a caterpillar, stitched into a pumpkin leaf in my garden. Braconidae is a family of parasitoid wasps and one of the richest families of insects. Between 50,000 and 150,000 species exist worldwide.

Not eggs. Cocoons of braconid wasps, family Braconidae. Pre-pupal caterpillar is seen just beneath them. The caterpillar was the host.
