Description:

It is medium sized brown colored upper body and palish below . It has brown markings starting from throat up to lower breast . Bill is sharp and short . Tail is medium . Sexes are alike .

Habitat:

Found in open field of Wheat at my hometown (Patiala).

Notes:

Differentiated from Richard's Pipit by having shorter legs and shorter dark bill . Its pitch is high and flight is direct and strong .
