Small butterfly. Typically flies low to the ground.

Habitat:

open areas, not so much in woods.

Notes:

Pearly Crescentspot's exhibit a lot of variation within the species. To make matters worse, recent studies on chromosomal and coloring characteristics have determined that the Pearly Crescentspot is really two seperate species Phenotype A and B. The two types do not interbreed.
