Spotting

Description:

Approximately 2" from tip to tip wingspan when resting. Resembles dried leaves. Moved very little despite the heavy wind.

Habitat:

Central CT forest/residential area.

Notes:

This was my first & only time seeing one like this. It was a very windy morning. He sat against the door frame despite heavy activity. First spotted around 6:30am. Again around 3pm in the same spot. Gone by sunset though.
