Thank you Filipe! It was a real privilege to get to see this bird as we were told Cooper's hawks tend to be very nervous around people & rarely make good educational birds.

Wow!! After all the coops I've seen go thru our facility, we've never had one whose temperament was suited to be an educational bird...they all seem so crazy/spastic/bonkers...etc!! Wonderful!! ;-)

I finally saw my first one of these a few days ago, but it was a juvenile. He was very curious of me and let me get really close, but I can't wait to see an adult! Beautiful photographs of such a pretty bird :)
