I am glad you got an ID for this. I spent a lot of time looking for it. I have to confess I took a look in the Weevils, but not close enough. Pinhole Borers is the last entry on the last page of the Weevils over at BugGuide. Live and learn, I guess. Well done, Lauren.

This cute little guy is a Pin-hole Borrer of the Family Platypodidae.
