Ledebouria

Ledebouria sp

Description:

attractive foliage, bulbous perennial herb

Habitat:

miombo woodlands, 1000m

Notes:

I saw a few Ledebouria while in Africa and I always admire their foliage. It wasn't till I got back to Canada that I learned what they were and that we had some at work. I'm now growing a few species at home. Spotted this near Fort Mangochi.
