At a distance can be determined from the turkey vulture by the labored flapping of its wings, flatter wing when soaring(Turkey vultures have a v shape when soaring) and the whitish wing patches near the tips. Usually found in larger groups

Habitat:

near lagoon. The waters were receding and the vultures were looking for stranded fish
