Geopelia striata
A zebra dove walks leisurely along grasses and pebbles in the lawn. It pecks something on the ground once in a while.
This bird is spotted in pairs perched on a branch of black currant tree (Antidesma ghaesembilla).
I managed to take several shots of the bird while standing motionless next to a water rose apple tree with the camera on my face. It walked undisturbed until it's about four meters from me. Then it flew apparently noticing my presence.
