Vulpes vulpes
No wildlife were injured during this photoshoot, and no wildlife were fed. In the first picture, there was snarling, baring of teeth, a bit of a scuffle, but both fox are fine - they went their separate ways. In the second picture, I spent some time observing (from inside my vehicle) this fox and got a lucky shot.
Island Beach State Park (along the Jersey Shore) is home to a number of red fox.

Happy to share. "Perfect timing" photographing wildlife = wait, watch and hope. Sometimes you get lucky as I did watching these fox.
