Brachiopod Fossil



There is one definitive brachiopod on this rock and several other types of fossils as well such as crinoid (see spotting and other as yet unidentified organisms. This rock measures ~39 mm (1.5 in) long, ~39mm (1.5 in) wide and ~15 mm (.6 in) thick. The fossil measures ~5 mm long and ~3 mm (.15 in) wide. This fossil dates to the Devonian Period (416-359.2 million years ago).
