This female Cane Toad was in a small wet area of a path an inch or two deep laying hundreds or thousands of eggs. The second picture shows the extent of the egg mass, about 10 feet long.

Interesting and informative video. The can lay up to 40,000 eggs in a summer!!!

When I saw your second picture, I became curious. Why they lay so many eggs? Then, I thought because, most of the eggs would not survive. So I went to Google and checked out why. Then, I discovered this interesting video of the history of cane toads being exported to Australia for the first time to save the canes which were destroying by the grubs.
