Spotting

Description:

This fish was caught for observing pond life in the classroom. My partner and I were catching fish when I spotted this one. Needless to say we caught it and it was the coolest organism we found. At first I thought it was a variation of minnow but when I looked it up it wasn't on a minnow list I think it's a speckled mosquito fish but I'm not sure

Habitat:

Mead garden, winter park Florida

Notes:

Unfortunately the fish died during our bottle biology experiment. I'm really hoping it was just a common species and not some extremely rare, once in a lifetime, fish
