Schistolais leucopogon
A common Central african warbler, resembling prinias; a.k.a. White-chinned warbler. Sparrow sized bird, but more slender and elegant, always active and noisy. Mainly grey above, with distinctive white throat and discreet black mask around eyes. The color of belly differs according to races, here mouse-grey (nominate race).
As mentioned, this is very common Central african bird, occurring at forest edges and wooded savannah, living at low height. Here, observed on the edge of forest near lagoon, on Atlantic coast near Pointe Noire (Republic of Congo).
