Mushroom

Leucocoprinus

Description:

Small white mushroom with brown markings on the cap. These were about 1-2 inches in height and about 3/4-1 inch or so in diameter depending on whether the cap was open or not.

Habitat:

These were growing in small clusters under a low growing grass after some rain in the area.

Notes:

I love finding mushrooms! These looked so dainty and cute. The doodle/pill bugs loved them! This genus of fungi has approximately 40 species. If anyone would like to help with identifying this species I would be grateful.
