Strongylocentrotus droebachiensis

Description:

sea urchin have a round shaped body and with long and short spines. It has greenish with reddish brown tones scattered spines that are fine for this species not as sharp as other urchin but still can cause punctured of the skin if touch harshly.

Habitat:

it is seen in a rocky islet of lunod/dawis in maco compostella valley

Notes:

The green urchin is edible, the orange color is the one that can be eaten.
