Lithobates [Rana] clamitans
2.5 to 3 inches long. Well-defined dorso-lateral ridges extending from the back of each eye down the back. Second toe is longer than the first. Dark brown with small irregular black spots. Yellowish under chin to white under body. Tympanum is much larger than their eye.

Since tympanum of females are about the same size as the eye, this is a male.
