Description:

Here is the adult feather-legged bug. This was found under bark along with a couple of nymphs, presumably penultimate. The furry 'leg warmers' are associated with odoriferous chemicals produced by the insect to attract ants, which it eats.

Habitat:

Found under bark of established roadside tree.
