Hawk Moth

Daphnis hypothous moorei

Description:

Moth with different shades of brown. Large about 4cm across.

Habitat:

I live near forests on a tropical island.

Notes:

Very similar to the Daphnis Nerii but shades of brown not green and pink.

Should be Daphnis sp., but I am not 100% sure about the exact species. For me it does not really looks like Daphnis placida.

Similar is also Daphnis hypothous, which I believe yours actually is. Vanuata is not really a paradise for lepidoptera searches...
I try to get a confirmation...
