Loimia medusa
long, skinny, white, dental floss or spaghetti-like structures on the near shore sea floor.
Near shore tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.
Spotted in about three feet of water while snorkeling offshore of Haleiwa Beach Park. The worm, owner of the tentacles, lives in a tube of its own creation at the point where one end of each of the tentacles meet.
