Rough House Gecko

Gekko monarchus

Description:

A large gecko on the kitchen wall. Larger than the adult common house gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus) here, but also much rarer. The skin is very rough, and has spots around it's body. This one probably is a young one or a female because I have spotted larger ones of this species. It is inactive when I found it, it may be weak or just lazy because it did not run away when I touched it.

Habitat:

Spotted this in my kitchen. They live in in and around houses.

Notes:

>>>Map accuracy : 250m diameter.
