Description:

This crisp clean beetle is an early surprise to welcome spring. Its porcelain like surface is unique among leaf beetles and the random dotting is aligned into rows for all other species.

Habitat:

Found on stringybark sapling.

The black and spotted ones overwinter under bark.
I do not know the habits and seasons for this one but was certainly seems too early.
