The markings could make it a lot of things, its shell is a bit deformed and the pattern on the skin is fading. That makes it hard to ID.
Either a yellow-bellied slider or one of the cooters. Hard to tell from this photo.
Not a box turtle at all, this is an aquatic turtle.
