Papilio machaon gorganus
The butterfly has yellow wings with black vein markings, and a wingspan of 70 millimetres
This butterfly is present throughout the entire Palearctic region, ranging from Russia to China and Japan, (including the Himalayas and Taiwan)
This lake, where sapropel is mined.
The real subspecies should be Papilio machaon gorganus, and not Papilio machaon taigensis, because gorganus is found from Western parts of Europe to the Urals, while taigensis is found in Northern Russia to places east of the Urals, so the distribution of taigensis is farther away compared to the places where gorganus is found on the map.
This should be correct, sorry for the confusion.
