Opossum

Didelphia virginiana

Description:

The opossum has grayish white fur, but can be nearly black. It has hairless ears and tail and a white face with a long, pink-nosed snout.

Habitat:

Woodlands and brushy areas.

Notes:

This little guy was eating the seeds at the bottom of our feeder. He/she stayed there for over an hour munching away.
