Red Fox

Vulpes vulpes

Notes:

This family of foxes was living under a neighbors shed at the retirement village my father lived in. They were very approachable, letting us get within 20 feet as they came out from under the shed.

Even though they are a big pest here in Australia i have to admit they are very cute! Unfortunately the last wild kit i saw was one with a broken back sitting in the middle of the road :(

I've seen quite a few foxes over the years but they never looked as good or calm as these!

I hope so! I'm pretty good at finding the not so common stuff, but I'm terrible at finding the common stuff! There are gray foxes all over the place here, but they don't exist to me so far lol

Ashley, I was lucky that my father told me about this family, otherwise I'd never have seen them. Sooner or later I'm sure you'll come across a fox or two, being outdoors a lot.

I have never seen anything so adorable in my whole life! I am so jealous, I have never seen a fox, much less a fuzzy baby one!!
