Brown-backed Red Marsh Hawk Dragonfly

Description:

Rusty brown thorax and red abdomen (My guide book says this is a male). Head is red and the wings are clear.

Habitat:

Its been raining and there are many dragonflies in the air...there were two on a potted rose plant in my office garden. The stance was odd...it wasn't perched on the stem as much as it like a fruit hanging from the stem.

The second photo is of another dragonfly...there were so many of them...
