Habitat:

Forest in the Saint Francois Mountains of southeast Missouri, in Elephant Rocks State Park.

It looks like this is a young specimen and it's still developing. To me it looks like a Maze Gill (Daedalea Quercina).
Maybe you coud come back and check it in a few days.
