Wikipedia: 'The Himalayan Marmot is about the size of a house cat. It is IUCN Red-listed as least concern because of its wide range and possibly large population'.

Habitat:

'The Himalayan Marmot inhabits alpine grasslands throughout the Himalayas and on the Tibetan Plateau. They inhabit at elevation of 11,500 - 17,100 ft'.

Notes:

This one was spotted by the bank of Gurudongmar Lake, which stands at 17,100 ft. The lake is in North Sikkim.
