Description:

During monsoon we find them suddenly making their appearance like artist on stage. There are small one's and big one's. Soft one's and hard one's. The beautiful Bracket Fungi (Microporus) Polyporaceae family are commonly found on dead logs & very interesting subject for photography.

Habitat:

The bracket fungi (or shelf fungi) comprise numerous species of the Polypore Family (Polyporaceae). Technically, these are not plants, gaining their sustenance through the decomposition of dead and dying plant matter.

Notes:

The beautiful Bracket Fungi (Microporus) is very beautiful & bright in colour during its first night after day one colours looks dull.
