Lithobates palustris
The pickerel frog is a medium-sized frog common in the eastern United State except in the deep south (south of northern Georgia). It is primarily terrestrial, even during breeding season or when seeking prey. It will go into the water to maintain body temperature, evade a predator, or when active seeking a mate. Pickerels hibernate in the winter, usually under rocks or mud at the bottom of a body of water or nearby.
Pickerel frogs stay close to still water during breeding season, but will move farther away after breeding. This frog was found along the edge of a suburban lawn, several yards from a small stand of damp deciduous woods, and good mile from the nearest body of water.

I did not realized the reflections in the frog's eyes. Now I see.
Thanks, RiekoS. I like the reflections in the frog's eyes (including my camera in the last one).
Very nice series.
