Eastern Gray Squirrel

Sciurus carolinensis

Description:

This little guy was pulled out of the ceiling tiles at a skating rink. His mother had been removed by pest control a few days prior. Even though he was pretty young, he ended up getting into some food at the concession stand to keep himself alive.

Will do. The mother was extracted from the building he was found in several days prior to finding him in the ceiling. There was no way to reunite them so he was taken to a rehab center.

I wonder what happened to the mother. Since you know the identity of your organism, please add the scientific name to make your spotting complete. If you have other spottings that are similar to this, please update them as well. Without the scientific name, your spotting is considered unidentified by the Project Noah database.

Thanks!
