An exquisite white variety of moth orchid (genus Phalaenopsis). The genus contains approximately 60 species. Phalaenopsis is one of the most popular orchids in the trade, through the development of many artificial hybrids. It is not known if this variety (partly) stems from a New Guinea native.
Growing as an ornamental in a garden in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
