Rumex scutatus

Description:

Rumex scutatus is a plant in the buckwheat family , is hardy in most regions, tolerating frost, full sun and short dry spells. It grows quickly to a clump up to 1 metre in diameter, with long leaves up to 10 centimetres in width, but the pictured flowered plant was tiny, due to the hard environment it was growing . It was spotted near Katarraktis village, Tzoumerka mountains, Epirus region, Greece.
