Southern green stink bug

Nezara Viridula

Description:

Stink bugs belong to the family Pentatomida, They give out a malodorous scent to protect themselves from predators. They are well known for being a highly polyphagous feeder and for attacking all major food crops.

Habitat:

Spotted in the village of thailavaram. A place known for its past agricultural fertile ground and many eucalyptus trees.

Notes:

These seems harmless but the stink is quite strong when you trigger their fright alarms. Better not touch it, the stink is unpleasant and needs strong scented soap to remove it
