I enjoy the opportunity to ID ferns I haven't seen in a while. I highly recommend a little book called Fern Finder, by Anne C. Hallowell and Barbara G. Hallowell. It's a dichotomous key with nice line illustrations. It costs about $5 and is more user friendly than any other fern field guide I've ever seen.

Thank you for another ID drP, as you may of noticed ferns are my weakness, do much better with the flowering plants.

It's been years since I got out to an area with limestone and beautiful ferns like the ones you've spotted. It's nice to see them again.
