Description:

This photo was taken at Lake Manyara, Tanzania. Its a ugly looking, huge bird; slaty gray on wings & back; white around neck and under belly; head is featherless, with res patches around eyes; huge bill; it has a distensible air sac hanging from the base of neck.

Habitat:

Savanna grassland & very common in towns of East African countries.
