Termite Tunnel

Description:

An old termite tunnel leading from the bottom to the top of the tree. The tunnel is about 1 cm in width. There is no nest at the top of the tree where the tunnel ends, so that most likely means the termites are not living there anymore.

Notes:

I am not sure what type of tree it was.

Hi there. Whenever you spot something that's FROM an animal (such as feces, tracks, a web, a nest, etc.), it can go in the category for that animal. Since this belongs to termites, I've gone ahead and have moved it to Arthropods for you.

You've already got it placed in the "Signs of Wildlife" mission so that's great. It's a perfect mission for this type of spotting. Great work!
