Description:

This is a fungus. It is light brown. Each fungus is approximately 2 cm in width and 4 cm in length (from bottom to top). It looks like dried apple.

Singapore Tropical Rainforest

Notes:

"Pleurotus ostreatus, the oyster mushroom, is a common edible mushroom. It was first cultivated in Germany as a subsistence measure during World War I and is now grown commercially around the world for food."- Wikipedia. This means it must have been brought here as it is not naturally found in Singapore.
