Sounds fantastic but I'm not surprised it was expensive. Dominica was my first and only experience with traveling in the Caribbean, but it does seem like an expensive area.
Dan, Asa Wright was great, but on the expensive side for tropical travel. All around the large raised porch were hummingbird feeders and at ground level were a bunch of feeders loaded with fruit. You could sit out on the porch and see 50 species of birds, then walk the extensive trails for many more species including the Oilbirds in a cave on their property.
I see, so it wasn't the same trip as Dominica. I thought maybe you were traveling around the Caribbean, but I can see you've been multiple times. I just looked up Asa Wright, looks pretty cool. How was it?
How do you manage to get such fantastic shots - a real treat !. Like I mentioned earlier, if these creatures could only see your photos of themselves!!. Thanks for sharing this..
