Glad I could help, trying to ID other people's spottings helps me learn how to use field marks to lead me to the correct ID. Many times I have never seen the bird in the field, as was the case with your bird.Maybe one day I will travel there to see one. Until then, thanks for sharing the photo!
Thanks a lot James! Actually with that tip I located it in my own books. It's a female Yellow-winged Blackbird. Now that I see it I don't get why I skipped over the relevant page in my book...
I am still looking but I am thinking Immature bird, possibly Yellow-winged Blackbird....Might find some help if you add this to Birds or Uruguay Mission
