A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Asplenium nidus
It is a large epiphyte which we found on an old log. Its leaf shape is elliptical, 150cm at longest point, and 27.5cm at the widest point. The leaf arrangement was whorled and the texture was leathery. We also found spores on the underside of the leaf.
It was found in secondary rainforest on a rotting log in a large patch of sunlight.
