Congratulations on capturing this awesome series beachbum732! I look forward to seeing the progress of this wonderful family.

A male bald eagle returns to the nest in our spotting of the day. Both parents take turns incubating the eggs and males take an active parenting role with the hatchlings.

Thank you.

I am so grateful to be able to watch this nest on an almost daily basis.

The eagle in the nest is an adult (most likely the female). No eaglets are visible yet, and when they are they do not have these markings. At about the age of 5 an eagle will mature to an adult and sport the white crown and tail feathers.

If you want to follow my photos, I will post pictures of the eaglet (or hopefully eaglets) as soon as I see them, and will also follow their progress.
