Description:

This lean grey coloured bug was about 8mm long. The thorax had minute spikey projections and the head, a long stabber - superficially resembling a reduviid bug.

Habitat:

open grasslands, gardens.

Notes:

These are said to be predatory bugs that live on small invertebrates. The subfamily Nabinae is made of four genera and 16 species, distributed throughout Australia.
