Bloodroot

Sanguinaria Canadensis

Description:

Beautiful early spring flowering plant several inches in height.

Habitat:

Woodsy, creek side area.

Notes:

The flowers were being served by a small white butterfly with a colored spot on his wings. A bit too swift for me to photograph.
