Arboreal Salamander

Aneides lugubris

I have seen these in Oakland and they were pale with very few spots. I've read amount of spots vary by location. These species have teeth and could bite. Body is browish color, legs are pale. Yellow specks dabble from head to tail, including the legs. About 15 costal grooves which on the flanks where the ribs are. Four toes on the front legs and five on the back.

This was spotted deep in a storm drain
