Hi Renee and thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately you are rather a long way out for several reasons. Firstly, the Bald Eagle is a bird of North America only, my bird was the other side of the world, in Malaysia. Secondly, only the head and neck of the Bald Eagle is pure white, the rest is mainly quite dark; on my bird the head, neck and breast is white, with thin, dark streaks, and there are extensive pale markings under the wings, the rest of the bird being a mid reddish brown colour. Thirdly, although Kites are related to Eagles they are generally smaller by around 30%.
