This is a jackfruit tree. It does not have any flowers but it does have fruit, Jackfruit. The leaf shape is ovate. The leaf arrangement is alternate. The leaf margin is entire. The texture is smooth and deeply creased with veins. The bark texture is bumpy. The root system is buttresses.
We found this in a patch of sunlight. This tree is in the SAS rainforest.
